Upcoming Show: Girls On The Rise in support of Girls On The Run

With incredible music and an incredible cause, Girls on the Rise will be having their annual fundraising concert in support of Middle Tennessee’s Girls On The Run on March 14th at the City Winery in Nashville.
Girls On The Run Middle Tennessee is a non-profit organization in Nashville with the goal to inspire young girls to be active and to enhance their social, emotional, and physical skills to successfully navigate life experiences. They have an after school program for girls in grades 3 through 8 that is designed to help them recognize their inner strength and celebrate their differences. The program also provides girls with an opportunity to positively impact their community through a service project and emotionally prepares them to complete a celebratory 5k run at the end of the 10 weeks.

Girls On The Rise will be hosted by singer/songwriter Alyssa Trahan, and this will be her fifth time hosting the event. Trahan has loved songwriting all her life and she shared that music is just simply who she is. Over her career she’s gotten dozens of credits over many genres and had placements on TV shows like The Jimmy Kimmel Show and The Young and The Restless.

Alongside hearing talented up and coming Nashville songwriters in several writers rounds, you will be able to participate in a silent auction and an artist panel.
Artists to be featured at the Girls On The Rise fundraiser show include: Angie K, Allie Colleen, Riley Roth, Julia Cannon, Jesslee, Sasha McVeigh, Cassidy Daniels, Charly Reynolds and Hasting.
I will also be attending the event and sharing my thoughts on it. It is an amazing cause with some very talented Nashville writers – definitely a can’t miss show!
